Ultimate Dreams King Natural Latex Mattress Review

I waited 3 months to actually buy this mattress - I wanted to do a lot of research on this product, read reviews, research it and the company, etc. The Ultimate Dreams company emailed me as soon as I placed the order and answered my first set of questions. I had hoped to actually be able to talk with a rep on the phone to discuss the firmness level because I wasn't sure if I should go with a 6 or 7 but that didn't happen - only communication was through email and they responded to some of my questions but not to all of them.
The email explanation from the rep of a 6 vs a 7 was: On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being as hard as the floor and 10 being almost like sleeping on a cloud, this mattress comes in at a 6, very good support with just enough of a plush soft top. Here is a little bit better description of the 6 & 7 on our scale. The 6 is considered a medium feeling mattress (not to firm not to soft).
It is a nice combination of softness on the top and support. The 7 is a little bit softer feeling mattress. The 7 has a little bit softer latex than the 6 so it allows you to sink into it more.

Since my husband prefers firm things and I prefer more plush, I went with a 6 because I thought it would be not too firm, not too soft as described. However, after sleeping on the mattress for a few weeks, I've concluded that based on their scale of softness, a 5 would be like sleeping on rocks or a concrete floor and the 6 is just one level less firm than that. It actually hurts me. I couldn't sleep on it at all and ended up having to buy a super plush foam topper just to be able to sleep without pain. My husband who likes very firm mattresses was able to sleep okay but much prefers the way it feels with the inches of the foam topper as well, so I think 6 would be too firm even for firm lovers.

If I could do it all over again, I would get at least an 8.

4pc Queen Size Bedroom Set with Wood Grain in Black Finish Review

This is a very nice furniture set with very easy assembly. However, when the description says BLACK finish, it means BLACK finish. My main reasoning for ordering this item was due to the black, light black pattern that is displayed in the picture. This is a pretty high priced furniture set, but I fell in love with the pattern and uniqueness of it. Well, my package arrived by the estimated date, but there was no pattern. The whole set is a dark black. Very disappointing. I could have bought a plain black furniture set from Walmart for half of the price. I sent a request for a partial refund and for the seller to change the picture on the page to prevent future buyers from assuming the same thing that I did about the set (that it had a pattern). The seller pretty much told me that this was my fault for not calling and asking about the set before purchasing it. I never once thought to contact the seller because any other time I order items online, they show up exactly what the picture looked like. They said that I could send the set back for a refund in 30 days but that is all that they could do. This would be nice if the set wouldn't have shown up on a transfer truck in 5 separate boxes and they don't pay for the shipping for returns. How they expect me to fit 5 boxes that came on a transfer truck into my 2 door car is a good question. I asked for a $100 refund and they just continued to blame the incident on my failure to call and question the item since it says "black finish" but has a pattern in the picture rather than taking the fall that this is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. So all future buyers, please do yourself the favor and not trust this seller on any item that they are selling!
