This chair was easy to assemble. Only four legs needed to be screwed on to the bottom. The packaging was poor however, having only a thin sheet of bubble wrap around it. The outer box arrived perforated where the armrest rubbed against the side of it.

As for the chair itself it is comfortable but does flex a bit when one leans back - not much but it is there. I do not know if the Vitra brand does this or not however. The fabric is OK and so far it has held up after a couple of months use. I must mention that amazon customer service was excellent when dealing with the packaging issues.
