OMG...I am in awe of this fire "ball". It was a luxury purchase (knew I shouldn't be spending the money). Well, let me say this about that: even my husband was amazed. First, it's huge! Second, it is weighty. Third, it's safer because the lid cannot move due to the smart metal "tabs" that keep the (already heavy) top from sliding. It comes with an iron rod w/a hook for removing the lid to put more wood on the fire. It is truly a work of art & a statement piece once outside.
