Made of solid birch, this bar stool gets its inspiration from Queen Anne and Chippendale designs interpreted by American Colonial craftsmen. It features cabriole front legs with ôC scroll carving, plain tapered Chippendale rear legs, a carved, pierced tattered shell back splat, carved bow top back rail, upholstered seat, a memory self returning swivel mechanism and antique brass finished foot rail. Finished in a lightly distressed deep cherry. Some assembly required.

These are very substantial and well made pieces! I bought 3 and put them together myself quite easily. I would recommend that you lightly attach all screws to the 4 legs and the round stretcher bar. Then tighten the stretcher bar and finally the upper leg screws. That seems to make the legs level. I like that the screws are set into metal. This makes them strong.
