I wasn't sure what I'd think about a piece of furniture I bought that I hadn't seen in person...so my expectations weren't very high (I've been duped by internet purchases before!), but i was pleasantly surprised with this headboard.

It came well wrapped and protected in the packaging...so no worries of damage. When i got it unwrapped, I had to attach the two legs, which then attach to the bed frame. A total of about 8 nuts and bolts...simple.

THe part I was most concerned with about my inability to see the headboard in real-life before ordering... was the fabric color/texture, since all i had to go off of for look/feel was the one picture on the website. I'll tell you, this linen sandstone is a light tan color, with flecks of darker brown, and white threads within it. It has a very light texture to it. So think less like "burlap," and more like a nice linen fabric that you'd find in a pair of pants or suit jacket.

Overall, i'm very pleased. I was looking for a neutral color to match my decor, check. I wanted something that wasn't cheap looking, check. I wanted something that was easy to put together, and isn't wobbly or flimsy after attaching to my bed, check.

If i had another bed that needed a similar headboard, I'd buy this product again.
