This rug was just what we were looking for. I was concerned that the colors would be too bright, but, they are not loud at all. I am still price-tag shock at the cost of these rugs, compared to what we spent many years ago and I wasn't sure about what to expect as the next price range was about double the price of this one. Most of the reviewers were happy with this one and I am happy to join them. It is about 1/2 inch thick and it weighs about 30 pounds so it is easy to move around. I unfolded it and used a wooden pole to help flatten it down and stretch it out as the instructions said. It laid flat right away without any bumps or lumps sticking up. The best part:: it is made in America, in Rhode Island. +JMJ+
