Initially I was hesitant to purchase furniture online, however I was very happy with this product. It ships in two boxes and the back piece snaps into the bottom. When the recliner is in the closed position it will function as a glider, when the recliner is open it will lock the glide function. The lever to recline is located on the inside of the recliner it's just a little handle connected to a cable. Although its non traditional I rather like it as you do not have a visible handle when looking from the outside. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because its sold as a leather recliner but I believe it to actually be simulated leather (although I'm not about to cut into mine to verify that).
